Ann
Hi! I’m Ann!            I am founder of Digital Lawyering – a global interdisciplinary initiative to shape the direction of legal education for the digital age. I coined ‘digital lawyering’ to encompass a body of theory, which encompasses the study of law infused with a wide range of interdisciplinary influences around technology, science, humanities, sustainability and many more, that is required for law students to thrive in a digital age so that they are future ready. I’m a passionate advocate for academic diversity into a parent discipline.

I am also a passionate advocate of digital transformation of learning and teaching. I am motivated by designing the best learning experiences for students in Higher Education, and also doing this in the most meaningful way.

I am not afraid of driving change and implementing change across institutions and passionately make a case to contextualise digital literacies that is relevant to subject disciplines, including the need for interdisciplinary learning in Higher Education.  I’m constantly searching for ways to prepare students and the educational terrain for the changing world.

I am a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and National Teaching Fellow recognised for my sustained record of effective strategic leadership in academic practice and academic development across both online learning and legal education, nationally and internationally.
